Last Spring I began an exercise in unrestrained expression of emotions. When viewing all of these panels together; my mind, now released from that raw expression, saw form and connectivity.
It is from the heart, where our compassion, love, empathy, and passion lie, that causes the overwhelming desire to scream out our anger, our sadness, our frustration, at the injustice and pain we see every day.
Screaming Red is the embodiment of the power and beauty of that expression.
