Throughout my life I have “played” with many different mediums - oils, watercolor, jewelry, clay, and my favorite-bronze sculpture.

It wasn’t until I was goaded into taking a quilt class thirteen years ago, that my passion was fully realized. A whole new world opened for me through fiber, and I have never looked back.

I love fiber art because of the visceral effect it has on me. I love being able to touch and manipulate the layers of color and texture. Fiber connects with my heart and soul, my emotions run freely. In my work, I draw from these emotions and my life experiences.

Recently, I have been working with another fiber - paper. This fiber is taking me in new directions and I can't wait to discover where this takes me.
